And definitely the hottest Mustang II ever made. Among other mods, the front wheels have been moved a full 12 inches forward to accommodate a highly modified Triton V10. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

390 horsepower and 475 pound/feet of torque...

I like that he went this way with this engine, it’s unique and quirky... But man the triton is an underpowered boat anchor.

Hey now, that’s almost Turbo 4.0 V6 territory there.

I love how it looks from the front wheels on back, and the engine swap is quirky. That V10 did its job of standing out at SEMA and the Optima Street Car Challenge.

That said, I prefer the nose of the Monroe handler bodykit and the fact they made the Mustang II into the lightweight, hi-powered Mustang it was supposed to be.

What's the turning radius?

Holy balls! That extra wheelbase looks amazing on that thing.

Um......

Really good for one thing, going really fast in a straight line.

I think I would live with some additional 3 point turns as compromise to drive that sex on wheels. If Mustang II’s came with those proportions factory they wouldn’t be the black sheep of the Mustang liniage

That it what a muscle car is for. It’s also built on a Corvette chassis & suspension, and is lighter than the Corvette. I think it’ll handle just fine.

I agree, and also I already live that life as an S60R DDriver. I look like a goddamn beginner every time I round tight parking ramp corner. But I love it even more because of that.

Moving the front axle forward does so much good for the car’s proportions.

A couple people mentioned turning radius issues. The Mustang II shipped with a 96" wheelbase, which just so happens to be exactly 12" shorter than the 108" wheelbase of the original Mustang and about an inch longer than every Mustang built since 2005. Given those figures, unless the Mustang has a reputation for terrible turning radius, it should be fine, right?

On the other hand, I’m sure those massive wheels aren’t helping turn radius at all...

A big factor is also steering lock. They probably had to build a custom steering rack for it, so the wheels might not be able to turn as far as the stock car.

All the changes bring the look closer to a badass Capri, which was always the sexy older sister to the gawky mustang II (imho)
